People have said to me, “Pastor Prince, I was taught that only my past sins—from the day I was born until the day I became a Christian—have been forgiven, and that my future sins are not forgiven until I confess them and seek forgiveness.”
My friend, when Jesus died on the cross, how many of your sins were future?
Unless you are more than 2,000 years old, all your sins were future then! Jesus took them all upon Himself, nailed them to the cross and declared, “It is finished!” So if you are not forgiven of all, then you are not forgiven at all.
“You mean Jesus also died for the sin that I have just committed?”
Yes!
“And also for the sins which I will commit?”
Yes! That is why He said, “It is finished!”
But many of us are inconsistent in our believing. One part of us says, “God has forgiven me of all my sins.” But another part says, “Yes, but I must still confess my sins to be forgiven of them.” Are you like that?
Beloved, you are forgiven not because of your work of confession. Your confession cannot wash away your sins. You are forgiven because of the blood of Jesus shed for you. His blood alone cleanses you.
You cannot believe that you are forgiven of your past, present and future sins, and still think that there is something for you to do to make that forgiveness complete. If you do, then it becomes your work too, not Jesus’ alone.
Is there a place for confession of sins? My friend, if you have just sinned, you can always tell God about it without feeling condemned because you know that you already have forgiveness and that Jesus was condemned in your place. But you don’t confess your sins to God in order to be forgiven. You already have total and complete forgiveness because of the blood of Jesus!

Some Christians believe that although you have forgiveness of sins, you are not free from the penalties of your sins. In other words, you can still expect punishment from God. For example, some married Christian couples have been told that they are childless because God is punishing them for having had pre-marital sex. So although God has forgiven them of that sin, He still has to punish them for it.
I am certainly not for pre-marital sex, but I want you to know that God, who is the only one who can fully appreciate the full value of His Son’s blood and who is completely satisfied by His Son’s sacrifice, is at rest in His heart today concerning your sins! That is why He is not against you even when you fail. Neither is He out to punish you when you sin. No, He still loves you, is for you and wants to help you overcome that sin.
In the Old Testament, the blood of bulls and goats could only “cover” sins and not take them away. (Hebrews 10:4) But the blood of Jesus is not like the blood of animals! For by one sacrifice, the eternal blood of the Son of God has forever removed your sins (Psalm 103:12) and cleansed you of all unrighteousness! (1 John 1:9) In fact, God is so satisfied with His Son’s perfect work that He says to you today, “Your sins and lawless deeds I will by no means remember!” (Hebrews 10:17) And if God does not remember them, why would He punish you for them?
Beloved, you have “redemption through His blood, the forgiveness of sins, according to the riches of His grace”. Because Jesus’ work is complete, all your sins have been completely forgiven. And complete forgiveness means that the penalties for your sins can no longer fall on you because they had already fallen on Jesus at the cross. (Isaiah 53:5)
So don’t think for one moment that God is punishing you for some sin just because something bad happened to you. Look to the cross and know that all your sins have already been punished fully in the body of Christ. Believe that God is for you and expect victory!

Colossians 2:13; And you, being dead in your trespasses and the uncircumcision of your flesh, He has made alive together with Him, having forgiven you all trespasses,
Let me ask you a question which Jesus asked the Pharisees: “Which is easier, to say [to the paralytic], ‘Your sins are forgiven you,’ or to say, ‘Rise up and walk’?” (Luke 5:23)
In the context of ministering to a paralytic, saying “Your sins are forgiven” is probably easier. Why? Because you don’t need an outward manifestation to prove that his sins are forgiven. But when you tell him, “Rise up and walk,” he must rise up and walk, or you will look very foolish! So that makes saying “Your sins are forgiven” easier than saying “Rise up and walk”.
The truth is, what is seemingly more difficult for man in the natural is not so for God. With God, physical healing is clearly “easier” for Him than forgiveness of sins. The latter is the “harder” and greater miracle because it required God to deliver up His beloved Son to take on all our sins and shed His blood on the cross.
Yet, when faced with a loved one stricken with cancer, or when gripped by mounting debts after being jobless for a long time, we seem to find it harder to believe and say that God has already given us the breakthroughs we need, than to believe and say that our sins are forgiven. Saying that our sins are forgiven seems easier than saying that God has already given us the miraculous physical healing, supernatural financial breakthrough or divine favor at the next job interview.
But since God has done the “harder” and greater miracle of “having forgiven you all trespasses”, there is nothing He will not do for you! (Romans 8:32) In fact, if you think that there is something that God is withholding from you, you are implying that that something is greater than the forgiveness of sins which Jesus died to give you! But nothing can be greater than the perfect sacrifice of Jesus.
So hear the Lord telling you today, “Your sins have been forgiven you. You have perfect acceptance before God. Rise up and be healed! Rise up and walk in health, wisdom, favor, protection and wholeness!”
Count on God’s Forgiveness

Hebrews 10:2; …For the worshipers, once purified, would have had no more consciousness of sins.
What are you more conscious of today? Your sins or the fact that you have been forgiven? My friend, don’t be conscious of your sins. Be conscious instead of Jesus and His finished work. The Lamb of God has taken away all your sins at the cross, so count on the fact that you are a forgiven child of God!
No matter what has happened or what you have done, God wants you to know that because of His Son’s finished work, He will be merciful to your unrighteousness, and your sins and lawless deeds He will remember no more. (Hebrews 8:12)
That is why you should not be conscious of your sins. In fact, when you are sin-conscious, the devil brings in condemnation, and the more you receive it and condemn yourself, the more you will find yourself unforgiving toward yourself and even others.
I was told by a pastor friend that when a lady, who had cancer on her face, asked for prayer for healing, the Lord revealed to him that it was self-hatred that was keeping her from receiving her healing. She could not forgive herself and was full of self-condemnation.
When she realized her problem, she counted on the fact that God was merciful to her unrighteousness and that she was already forgiven. She received the love of God. Then, right before the pastor’s eyes, her whole face changed—she received her healing that very moment!
Something happens when you believe that you are forgiven. That is why God says to you, “I want you to believe that all your sins I will remember no more. I want you to believe that you are My child enjoying My mercy and that you can always count on My forgiveness.”
Beloved, remember that all your sins have already been paid for by Jesus on the cross. And the more you count on the fact that you have the Father’s forgiveness and that He does not condemn you because of Jesus’ finished work, the more sin and its effects—sickness, hatred, lack and so on—will lose their grip on you. You will find yourself walking in a greater measure of God’s grace and blessings!

1 John 2:1; My little children, these things I write to you, so that you may not sin. And if anyone sins, we have an Advocate with the Father, Jesus Christ the righteous.
If you want a glimpse of some real-life celestial drama, picture this: God the Father sits as Judge of the universe with Jesus Christ at His right hand, who is not only your High Priest, but also your Advocate.
When your accuser, the devil, comes along and says, “You have done this wrong and you have not done that right,” Jesus says, “Father, the devil is right, but My blood has paid for what the devil is accusing him of.”
Then the devil adds, “You have also not been reading the Bible or praying enough. And this morning, you told a lie.”
Again, Jesus will say, “Father, the devil has indeed reported correctly, but My blood has paid for all these failures.”
God the Father will then slam the gavel on the sound block and say, “Case dismissed! Next!”
You need to understand that God can justly declare you innocent and completely righteous because Jesus took your place at the cross, and shed His blood to pay for your sins and condemnation. (2 Corinthians 5:21) God is simply being faithful and just to what Christ has done.
When Jesus rose from the grave, He rose as your Advocate, your lawyer. But unlike most earthly lawyers who take on cases because it serves their interests and wallets, He is a lawyer who is personally interested in your happiness and well-being. Unlike earthly lawyers who are not caught up in the feelings and sufferings of their clients, Jesus went through great sufferings for you and paid with His own life so that you can receive all the blessings of God.
As your Advocate today, Jesus ensures that what He died and suffered to give you, you get! In heaven today, He defends and represents you to ensure that the healing, wholeness, protection and other blessings that He died to give you are enforced in your life. Beloved, have confidence in and rest in the ability of your Advocate!
You Are Not Guilty

Fear brings with it the thought of punishment. We shouldn’t fear the return of Jesus but have confidence in the fact that we are new creations because of Him (1 John 4:17, 18, AMP).

We have been made right with God.
Many Christians fear the day of Jesus’ return.

Although many people have predicted the return of Christ, no person knows the day or hour of His return (Matthew 24:36, 1 Thessalonians 5:2, 3).

We have God’s unconditional love, forgiveness, and cleansing. Why would He betray us and bring up the very sins that He chose to forget?
We no longer have to fear; Jesus has already dealt with our sins.

We have to understand the subject of judgment in order to grasp the meaning of certain scriptures about the second coming of Christ.

There are certain scriptures that seem to contradict Hebrews 9:28 by saying all will be judged at the second coming of Christ (2 Corinthians 5:10; Revelation 20:13-15).

However, these scriptures are not referring to those who have been made righteous. The Church has a different fate; it is not hell-bound (Revelation 21:1-3).
If we don’t understand the subject, we will misinterpret the Scriptures.

Even so it is that Christ, having been offered to take upon Himself and bear as a burden the sins of many once and for all, will appear a second time, not to carry any burden of sin nor to deal with sin, but to bring to full salvation those who are [eagerly, constantly, and patiently] waiting for and expecting Him (Hebrews 9:28, AMP).

Those who don’t believe in Jesus are already judged.

Jesus drew all judgment to Himself when He died on the cross. Therefore, when we accept Him as our Lord, we will are exempted from the punishment (for sin) we deserve (John 12:30-32).
This is true for Christians. Those who believe in Jesus are not condemned (John 3:18, AMP).

Please watch this broadcast. Please just watch and let the Lord guide your heart. Also, I’m attaching the study notes from this message from their website. It’s titled “Not Guilty”. When we REALLY accept what Jesus did for us and accept Him as our Savior, we accept we are not guilty through Him. There’s something Creflo said in this message I was telling my husband last night about God’s grace. Really accepting what Jesus did for us and accepting we are not guilty no more (which is His grace) is not an invitation to commit sin and using grace as a way to sin. 1st of all, we don’t need an invitation to sin. We were born into sin. But Grace is the opposite. When you realize what He did for you, you don’t want to sin. The truth is accepting God’s grace is the way to not sin. Why do you think the Bible says “where sin abound, grace much more abound”. Also, there is a scripture that tells us it’s God’s goodness that leads us to repentance. What Creflo said that I said to my husband last night was, when someone is good to you that makes you want to do right, even though you know you were wrong. That’s what God does for us. He’s good to us, even when we don’t deserve it. That’s what He did for us when Jesus died for our sins. He took our punishment. When we get that truth it draws us to Him. So many are turning away from God because they think He’s out to get them. That is a lie. The Lord Jesus said He did not come to destroy men, but to save them. He said He does not want men to perish. If He don’t want us to perish, then He isn’t out to kill you like so many say. Just like Jesus was lied about in the Bible by those who taught under false religion, He is being lied about today. Know the truth. If you accepted Jesus as your Savior, the truth is you are not guilty. Stop focusing on your sins and errors. Ask yourself “has that changed me”. Focusing on your sins hasn’t changed or will ever change you. Only Jesus Christ can change you. If you sin He tells us to confess our sins to Him and He will cleanse us from our sins (1 John 1:9). There is nothing that you’ve done that He can’t cleanse. All things are possible with Him. Just take a chance and believe. It’s not going to hurt anything. Actually, it’ll help. If you already know the truth, then share this good news (the gospel) to others. Be blessed in Him.

Summary – When some Christians hear anything about Judgment Day, they become fearful, believing that this day represents the day they will be punished for all their sins. People have mistakenly believed many myths about the day Jesus returns; however, it will not be the day in which God exposes every bad thing we’ve done.
